Here are 8 Romantic and Fun Wedding ideas you may not have thought about when planning your wedding day to make it truly special and memorable for you and your guests. There’s no pressure here, it’s your day and I’m sure you will add the personally that reflects you.
1, Make an Entrance
If there’s an entrance at your venue, a space to welcome guests with their welcome drink, make it a space for selfies and pictures. It’s the first thing your guests will see, and the first impression matters. Have a think… what’s the first area your guests will see in your venue, does it need a bit more wow? 2, The Smell
Hear me out here, what does your venue smell like? We had a bride this year that had her mother’s perfume, who had sadly passed, made into candles which filled the rooms. 3, Be Entertained
Be Entertained, when your guests arrive at your venue, quite often you’re not there yet. You’re with your photographer and there’s some time for your guests to chat. Let them be entertained, hire a Magician, we recommend Sam Fitton. When I say magician I mean incredible entertainer who can make your guests belly laugh, really Wow them and have them scratching their heads in amazement.
4, Music to your ears
You’ve probably thought about a playlist but what about your favourite songs in a different version? We walked down the aisle to ‘The only Exception’ by Paramore, but we love a piano so most of our songs were played in that way. Instruments and live singers are a beautiful way to lift your guests up, connect, and quite often we don’t hear a lot of live music so when we do, you know it’s going to be a memorable moment, we recommend Franchesqua Sings and Daisy Kate.
5, Statement Frames
Move beyond the typical floral arch and explore unique materials like metallic frames, neon-lit arches, or our Geometric frames and designs with mixed materials like wood and acrylic. These bold statement pieces can easily transition from ceremony to reception decor. 6, Projection Mapping
More immersive and will leave your guests in awe. You can project images or videos of you over the walls. Think a Van Gogh Exhibition that truly draws you into the experience. You’ll be bringing your guests into your love story. We all edit videos for instagram, why not grab some of your best videos, add it to some music and project it onto the walls.
7, Interactive Food Stations
One for the bigger weddings a think. I love a Mexican and Margarita! Set up a taco making station, and the same for your margs, make it spiced or fruity! Paired with some fun custom neons ‘feed me tacos and tell me I’m pretty’ and remember we can make any custom neon for your Food Station.
8, Grand Exit
Are you going to stay till the end or make a Sparkling Exit? I remember in the films they would leave the party early and head to their honeymoon. However you leave, make sure you make a Grand Exit! Sparklers, Confetti Cannons, Fireworks or a really good Last Song. Leave your guests on a high.
